We're full swing out in Kerrisdale. Camps have been running all summer and the kids/instructors are having a blast. If you'd like to get your child signed up, contact the Kerrisdale Community Centre.
Over here on the East Side were not seeing many sign ups yet unfortunately. There's definitely interest, I know that. So if you are interested in getting your child (boy/girl age 6 and up) some safety lessons at either the China Creek Bowls or the Strathcona skatepark, head on down to the Britannia Community Centre and sign up :)
We're also happy to announce that we're going to have lessons at the new Kensington skatepark located at 37th and Knight St. Contact the Kensington Community Centre here.

Summer got off to a great start for us at the Vans Roadblock Contest July 3rd. Four local shops were invited (BLVD, UW, Antisocial and Coastal Riders) to provide their own unique obstacle. Our teams then competed against each other for $1000 per obstacle. We brought the best obstacle by far. Most challenging and most bad ass by a mile. A 16 foot long wooden steep bank with a granite top. We came close on the other obstacles but there was no question we dominated ours and won it! Thanks to Corey Klim, AJ, Des, Connolly, new recruit Nick Moore and Vegas transplant Cameo Wilson.
